The Kawcza Mountain

The Kawcza Mountain (61 m above sea level) is a viewpoint situated in the eastern part of the city.

A wooden staircase built at its foot lead from the beach to the top of the mountain, from which you can admire the beautiful view of the sea. The ceremonial opening of the stairs took place in July 2013. These are the longest stairs on the Polish coast – they are 128.5 m long and 51 m high. There are two rocks on the top of the mountain that commemorate two congresses of foresters: the 1892 German Foresters Congress and the 1992 Congress of the Polish Forestry Society.
